Paul Wesley is a multi-award winner as an actor, producer and director. He's best known for his role as Paul on the TV show The Vampire Diaries. As a character in the television series, he's received numerous nominations and awards like the Teen Choice Awards as well as the 'Young Hollywood Awards. Wesley is a native of the United States who started acting while at school. After that, he attended Rutgers University. However after realizing his potential as an actor and knowing he was able to make a career out of his acting talents, the actor quit. His first appearance in TV was in the cult American TV soap opera Another World. For two years, he played the lead role on Wolf Lake on CBS. In the popular American television show The Vampire Diaries he played the lead role Stefan Salvatore. The show has allowed him to direct a few episodes. Since his debut in the film The Last Run he has been in a variety of popular films. Recent roles include Mothers and Daughters and The Late Bloomer as a supporting actor.
