Jones was the winner of both hurdles in the indoor as well as outdoor hurdles event at the NCAA Championship in 2003. Jones is training since 2005, when she completed her education. She won both her events, the Torino Memorial and the Heusden Track events in the same year.

Brandt relocated out of Cape Town South Africa to Auckland New Zealand at the close of her teen years. Brandt's talent was discovered in Auckland by local casting director Brandt. Brandt was cast as a part of Naevia as part of the Starz series Spartacus Blood and Sand and Spartacus Gods of the Arena. She was one of the most prominent actors in the show, working alongside Steven S. D Knight and Sam Raimi. She was a part of the cult Netflix show Lucifer which had a 6 year run. She played the favorite Vertigo/DC comic book character Mazikeen. Forbes named Lucifer as the number one binge-watched show for 2021. Brandt will be next seen with Andrew Lincoln, Danai Guarira and other Walking Dead cast members in the six-episode Walking Dead spinoff that airs in 2020. Also, she stars with Jason Ritter Anthony Carrigan Chris Meloni and Chris Meloni as Captain Fall in an adult animated film to be released by Netflix on July 20, 2023. Lesley Ann Brandt born in Cape Town South Africa on the 2nd of December, 1981. She is an New Zealand actress with a great potential. Lesley Brandt moved with her whole family from New Zealand to Auckland in 1999. In Auckland Brandt's first job, she was a salesperson and then was promoted into the role of an IT expert. Lesley began her career as a commercial ad-writer after some modeling opportunities. In 2008, she finished her degree in acting and continued her training in Meisner methods of studying. The first time she was seen on screen in New Zealand was as a TV actor on Diplomatic Immunity. Lesley Brandt was a guest actor in New Zealand's television drama Shortland Street. In the following season, she was in the science-fiction action thriller This Is Not My Life that is based upon anecdotal Waimoana. Lesley Brandt starred in the show Spartacus: Blood and Sand as Naevia, a hostage who later appeared in the Spartacus: Gods of the Arena miniseries.
